STORM + STRESS, was born out of a desire to created unique adornements using some of the earth's most beautiful materials. The name is loosely translated from the German Sturm und Drang, which was a literature and music movement in the late 1700's that urged individuals to express themselves freely through the arts. That is our desire for our customer. Our pieces have been created by our own free expression in hopes that it will inspire you in your every day life to step out of the box and try something new. You will find us using brass, copper, crystals, minerals, leather, and whatever else we can get our hands on that piques our interest and stirs inspiration.  We are constantly stretching ourselves and learning our limits and strengths only to become better over time.  We desire to be an authentic company with the hope to create happiness, joy, and imagination through our pieces.  Each item is handcrafted with much thought and love so know that you are receiving a special creation to last a lifetime. Without you, this dream would be impossible, so for that, we thank you <3

STORM + STRESS is made up of Deidre and Joshua Stone.

Deidre is the creator, designer, stylist, maker, and dreamer.  Her love for jewelry and decor started at a young age.  Graduating with a B.S. in Fashion Merchandising and Design, her focus took a turn towards adornments after trying her hand in the clothing fashion world and realizing it wasn't for her.  It became very apparent that she wanted a more laid back approach to fashion and that manifested itself through jewelry and accessory design.  With a love for a cozy and beautiful home, styling became something that just happened naturally and has become a way of life.  Each piece is made by hand by Deidre in our small studio in our home with her sweet pup by her side and music filling the air.

Joshua is the supporter, advice giver, and encourager.  Without his kind words of advice or suggestions, STORM + STRESS would not be what it is today.  His support has been pivotal in maintaining this company and making it successful.  Many suggestions are made on his part to make each piece special and one of a kind.  With his strong attention to detail and distinctive point of view, each piece is reviewed by him before shipment to make sure it has his high standard stamp of approval.
